Volunteer of the YEAR

Most people would stand on stage and say I want to thank my mum or Jesus, not me. I smiled and walked off stage. It was a complete pleasure to give up over 56 hrs to volunteer in a ton of projects. I never did it for an award I did it to reconnect with people and to realise how lucky my circumstances are. I do have to thank Samantha, Ahmed and Tracy for making the V Team something special and all inclusive. Its been a long time since I felt part of something worth while.
