Oh we been nominated... WHAT!

Now am not one to gloat but once a tutor said to me

" To make it in the audio world you need a Mac , Pro tools and a decent Zoom"

I called bullshit and went out of my way to prove that tutor WRONG! using a Pc , editing software Audacity and my trusty iPhone 6 as a Mic , I made some quality audio for Podium.me . My reporting of the Don't bomb Syria protest outside Parliament, was considered great audio. I was overwhelmed by the praise. No one believed the sound quality was captured on an iPhone. I set out and questioned all the protester under 25 I could find. I meet such a range of individuals. I was shocked how eager people were to talk to me. The views varied from Anti- war to Pro chaos. The atmosphere was alive and exciting. I took my audio rushed home edited it on my Pc with Audacity and submitted to Podium.Me.

It was so good I was invited to Audio Production Awards 2016 ! I am totally grateful for this adventure. It was very interesting to see the entire process. I have stepped into the actual field of radio, this is scary and fun all at the same time.

Don't let someone who doesn't know you your value tell you how much you're worth!
