George " Adders" Ofori- Addo is second year BA (Hons) Radio and Digital Media student at University of West London.
Born and raised in East London, Adders got his first taste of radio when asked to make a jingle for Whitechapel Hospital AM Radio- WAM.
At WAM Adders became the lead presenter of the Mix Show and a forward-thinking producer.
After working for the government, for a few years. Adders decided it was time to do something he loved, so set his creative mind on returning to radio and joined the University of West London.
During a Podium.me lecture, Adders meet Camila Byk who inspired him to go out and use his iPhone to interview people. This is how Adders became part of Podium.me, editing and producing content. It was with Podium.me, that Adders was nominated for the “Grassroots Audio Production Awards”
Also for Podium. me, Adders edited, sections of Jamal Edwards MBE’s “How Smart Phones Changed the World” documentary which was aired on BBCR1 on the 14th Feb 2017
Thanks to Jen Bartram, Adders was head hunted by W5 Productions to produce and edit a series of Podcasts for the insurance company Hamilton Fraser.
Adder was also approached by Ben Whiting to assist on Stan Collymore’s live radio talk show Call Collymore.
Despite all this commitments Adders, still manages to Produce his own content for Mixcloud which include:PLAY, Bring The Wahala, and Don’t Cry Don’t Beg.
And hosts at LCM live Sessions every month.
